The Data Recovery Process:
Evaluating Your Drive:
Once we receive your hard drive it will
be logged into our system & queued for evaluation
by one of our data recovery technicians.
It perform a number of tests and examiniations on
your hard drive in order to find out exactly what
the problems ar. We will provide you with our initial
diagnosis, total recovery cost and estimated completion
date within 24 of receiving your hard drive.
Recovering Your Data:
During the recovery process we may perform
component level board repairs, if necessary.
Any repair, or adjustments of components are often
just temporary measures to gain access to the data.
The first thing to occur in the data recovery
process is the cloning process. We never work directly
on your original media. Once the cloning process is
complete, our data recovery engineers will work at
the hexidecimal level (machine level) of your drive
in order to get the best recovery results.
Throughout the entire data recovery process,
your media is in a secure, static-free, class 100
clean room environment. This prevents the possibility
of any further damage happening as a result of dust
or related particles getting into an open hard drive.
Returning Your Data:
"If your hard drive is repairable,
and in our opinion will stay repaired, we will return
your data on your repaired drive. If it is determined
that your drive cannot be repaired, we can return
your recovered data in a variety of ways, including
copying it to a new hard drive, writeable CD, Zip/Jazz
cartridge, or tape system."
"We will keep a copy of your data for one week
to ensure the successful re-installation of your data.
Once your data is re-installed,
your data will be purged from our storage vaults."
